Children’s Home Manager – Newton House Location: Wisbech Salary: £50,000 Welcome Bonus: £5,000 Performance Bonus: 21% of Annual Salary Service Care Solutions are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for a Registered Manager to lead Newton House, a 3-bed children’s home in Wisbech supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This is a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate and experienced leader to make a lasting impact in a well-established setting. About the Role As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the home. You’ll guide a dedicated care team, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive the highest standards of care and support for the children. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, therapeutic care for children with emotional and behavioural needs Lead, mentor, and develop your staff team through training, appraisals, and supervision Ensure compliance with safeguarding legislation and Ofsted standards Oversee budgets, staffing, and the strategic development of the home Maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing environment Act as a positive role model for both staff and young peopleRequirements Minimum 3 years’ experience in a senior role within a children’s EBD setting Level 3 or 4 qualification in Children and Young People’s Workforce Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards) Strong knowledge of safeguarding, Ofsted regulations, and relevant legislation (Children Act 1989, Children’s Home Regulations) Experience in financial and budget management Full UK driving licence Flexibility to participate in the on-call rota A genuine commitment to achieving the best outcomes for childrenWhy Join This Opportunity?
