Children’s/ Paediatric Care Assistants/Support Workers – Horsford, Norwich

Airmid Staffing is on the lookout for Children’s Care Assistants/ Support Workers to manage a young person’s short- and medium-term recovery from surgery. This is a package of care where you will be working 1:1.
This is a unique opportunity to join a small, established support team, providing tailored one-to-one care that genuinely changes lives – not just routines.
About the Client:
Our client is a young gentleman (15 years of age) with Cerebral Palsy, who will be recovering from invasive spinal surgery. We need someone who understands the possible challenges and setbacks of post-surgery recovery and you will need to be warm, kind, and communicative.
What You'll Be Doing:
Supporting a young gentleman with his recovery from spinal surgery
Monitoring his movement and pain management, to ensure he is comfortable, and pain is controlled
Work with the family, and the Airmid MDT to provide continuity and stability to this young person.
A Few Essentials:
Experience with post-surgery recovery
Previous experience working within Paediatrics
Calm, patient, and respectful of quiet time as well as sociable moments
Able to think on your feet and adapt to different moods and situations
Confident & effective communicator who’s happy to work with Airmid’ s MDT and the family.
Shift Info:
Pay Rates £15.00PH PAYE/ £19 LTD
This is an ideal role if you're looking for flexible work. Shifts include:
Thursday and Friday night shifts (10.00pm -07.00am)
