Children’s Residential Team Leader – Leyland, Lancashire
Salary: £29,600 – £35,000 + Bonus + Sleep-in Allowance
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Our client provides therapeutic, family-style homes for children aged 7–18 with complex needs, including Autism, SEBD, and other challenges. They focus on nurturing, safe, and supportive environments that help children thrive.
Our client is looking for a passionate Team Leader to oversee daily operations, lead a team of childcare staff, and deliver high-quality care. This role offers progression to Deputy Manager within 12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and support a team of residential staff
* Implement and monitor individual care plans
* Maintain accurate records and ensure regulatory compliance
* Promote children’s well-being and development
* Act as a role model for staff and children
Requirements:
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Care / Children & Young People Services (or equivalent)
* Minimum 2 years as a Residential Support Worker
* Minimum 2 years’ team leadership experience
* Strong communication and IT skills
* Compassionate, adaptable, and professional
* Full UK driving licence (manual)
Benefits:
* Competitive salary (£29,600–£35,000 / £14.25 per hour)
