Position: Children’s Senior Social Worker
Location: Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council
Hourly Rate: £34
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Advanced/Senior Practitioner (Level 11) to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team at Stoke-on-Trent City Council. Key Responsibilities:
* Assessing Needs:
Conduct timely and appropriate assessments in accordance with national guidance, legislation, departmental policy, and the Social Work England Code of Practice.
* Care Planning:
Develop and implement effective care and support plans tailored to the assessed needs of children and families.
* Collaborative Working:
Work closely and collaboratively with children, families, and carers throughout the assessment, planning, and review processes.
* Multi-Agency Partnerships:
Build strong working relationships with other departments within the Council, as well as statutory, voluntary, and independent agencies.
* Professional Standards:
Maintain high standards of professional practice and be accountable for decisions and actions in line with your experience and grade.
* Safeguarding:
Identify safeguarding concerns and follow agreed procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children.
