SW Locums is currently recruiting an experienced Children’s Social Worker to join Haringey Council’s Children’s Services – Disabled Children’s Team on a full-time locum basis.

About the Role

You will manage a varied caseload, working directly with children with disabilities and their families to achieve positive outcomes and promote independence.

Your responsibilities will include:

    Undertaking high-quality assessments and reviews.

  * 

    Supporting children and families with complex needs.

  * 

    Coordinating short breaks and joint-funded care packages.

  * 

    Developing effective, child-centred support plans.

  * 

    Working closely with health, education and other multi-agency professionals.

  * 

    Advocating for children and ensuring their voices, wishes and needs remain central to decision-making.

  * 

    Maintaining high-quality records and ensuring work meets statutory and professional standards.
