Vetro Recruitment is seeking Children's Residential Support Workers to join children's homes in Caerphilly. This role supports vulnerable young people with day-to-day care, emotional wellbeing, and safe, consistent routines.

* Pay: £14.24 - £28.48 per hour inclusive of holiday pay

Key Duties
* Support children and young people with day-to-day activities and interests
* Promote independence and wellbeing, encouraging positive outcomes
* Provide emotional and practical support within the home
* Support participation in weekend activities, trips, and holidays alongside the team
* Protect children and young people from risks to their health and welfare
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of care plans and guidelines to support safe care
* Support, oversee and learn to minimise incidents when behaviour can be challenging
Requirements
* A desire to create positive outcomes for vulnerable children and young people
* Empathetic, caring, and resilient approach
* At least 6 months experience working with children or within a similar social care setting
* Valid UK Driving Licence
* Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
* Right to work in the UK
