Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and experienced Children's Support Workers to join our team for temporary ad hoc shifts across a variety of children's home placements. The role involves supporting vulnerable young people in a residential setting.

Position: Children's Support Worker - Ad Hoc Shifts
Location: Brecon and various other locations
Type: Temporary, Ad Hoc
Responsibilities:
Provide support and care for vulnerable young people.
Assist with daily routines, activities, and personal care.
Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for the children.
Implement care plans and follow safeguarding procedures.
Build positive relationships with young people and promote their well-being.
Document observations and report any concerns or incidents.
Work effectively as part of a team and communicate with other professionals.Shift patterns vary, from afternoons, mornings - both can be rolled up into long days if available.
Requirements
Driving Licence: Must hold a valid UK driving licence.
Business Insurance: Must have business insurance added to vehicle policy.
Enhanced DBS: Must possess an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
Restraint Training: Must be restraint trained or wiling to undertake a course provided by Randstad.
Social Care Wales Registration: Must be registered with Social Care Wales.
Residential Experience: Essential residential experience supporting vulnerable young people.
Ability to work flexibly and adapt to different placements.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
