Job Description
Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable and physically capable Chilled Store Operative to join our warehouse team. This role is based in our chilled store (operating at 6°C and above), and involves accurate picking, handling of goods, and maintaining a high standard of work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Picking and handling products accurately, ensuring correct part codes are used
*
Lifting and carrying items up to 25kg (average jerry can weight)
*
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the chilled store
*
Working safely and efficiently in a temperature-controlled environment
*
Complying with all health and safety regulations, including COSHH where applicable
*
Using MHE (Material Handling Equipment) as required, including forklifts (standard and Bendi where applicable)
*
Wearing appropriate PPE and chilled store clothing as issued
Requirements:
*
Physically fit and able to handle manual lifting (up to 25kg)
*
Strong literacy and numeracy skills, with attention to detail for picking and part codes
*
Previous warehouse or chilled store experience desirable
*
COSHH awareness or experience is advantageous
*
MHE licence required; Bendi licence highly advantageous
*
Comfortable working in chilled conditions (protective clothing will be provided)
*
A team player with a good attitude and a strong work ethic
