Are you a passionate and engaging PSHE Citizenship Teacher eager to equip all students with essential life skills, knowledge of their rights and responsibilities, and an understanding of contemporary society? We are partnering with an Outstanding mixed school in Islington that is looking for a fantastic permanent, full-time PSHE Citizenship Teacher to join their dedicated team this September. This is a wonderful opportunity to foster social awareness, critical thinking, and healthy personal development in students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with exciting potential for Key Stage 5.
What you'll be doing:
* You'll be designing and delivering dynamic PSHE and Citizenship lessons, covering topics such as health and wellbeing, relationships, personal finance, democracy, and global issues.
* It's about creating a safe and inclusive environment for open discussion, encouraging empathy, and empowering students to make informed decisions.

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a strong understanding of PSHE and Citizenship curriculum.
* Experience teaching engaging and effective PSHE / Citizenship lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is highly desirable.
* A deep and current understanding of relevant social and political issues, plus the ability to facilitate sensitive discussions.
* Excellent communication and listening skills, strong classroom management, and a genuine passion for holistic student development.
