Contract Outline:
Role: Civil Design Engineer
Location: Macclesfield
Sector: Wastwater
Contract Length: 12 months
Outside IR35
Rate: £50ph
Role Overview:
Design of civil infrastructure for the water sector, for feasibility, conceptual and detailed designs.
Key Responsibilities
Producing Feasibility, Conceptual and Detailed Design documents.
Produce Design drawings using AutoCAD 2D / 3D or AutoDesk Civil 3D (or similar) software.
Preparing design packs for internal and external client reviews.
Producing designs in accordance with the relevant client and water network design codes, regulations, specifications and procedures.
Working in accordance with CDM Regulations 2015.
Attending and participating in internal and external meetings to review designs.
Pipeline / Valve support Drawings, General Arrangement Drawings, Thrust / anchor block Drawings, Site infrastructure Drawings
Key Skills / Qualifications
Water design experience is essential.
Wastewater design experience in Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) projects for Feasibility, Concept and Detailed Design projects.
Experience in AutoCAD 2D and 3D software to produce pipeline / diversion routes, connection, pumping station designs etc. is preferential.
Gas design experience is preferential.
