Job Description
Our client, a leading consultancy in the water sector, is currently seeking experienced Civil Design Engineers for a contract opportunity starting as soon as possible. This is a long-term contract role, working inside IR35, with a competitive rate offered. The role is focused on delivering exceptional civil design solutions within the water sector, specifically in non-infrastructure and some infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing detailed civil design solutions for a range of water sector projects
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering designs
Providing technical expertise to ensure designs meet project requirements and industry standards
Participating in project meetings and liaising with clients and stakeholders
Contributing to the successful delivery of frameworks and capital investment programmes
Ensuring compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
Documenting design processes and preparing detailed reports
Supporting project delivery from concept through to completion
Job Requirements:
Experience in civil design engineering, preferably within the water sector
Strong technical design skills and understanding of design principles
Experience with non-infrastructure projects, with some exposure to infrastructure projects
Ability to work collaboratively with clients and multiple framework delivery partners
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
