Job Description

My Client, a market leading Engineering and Environmental Consultancy with offices based in the heart of Bath, is searching for a Drainage Engineer to join their team in Bath.  You will be required to work from the office on a hybrid basis.   

This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join an innovative team who specialise in transport planning and infrastructure for private sector clients across the region.  With a wide portfolio of projects you will have the chance to design flood risk, roads and drainage solutions for bespoke residential properties, housing estates, commercial lots, warehouses and Universities.  

As a Drainage Engineer you will be required to complete varied technical work including; 

-Flood Risk Assessments for flood zone 1,2 and 3. 

-Flood Risk Mapping using ArcGIS. 

-Drainage, attenuation and SuDS design using AutoCAD and infodrainage. 

-Access road design.  

-Design of sustainable drainage solutions for bespoke builds and University projects.  

-Project management. 

-Client meetings to discuss project progress and develop new business opportunities.    

-Support team members with designs.

It is essential that applicants have a strong BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering, Environmental Management, Hydrology or Environmental Engineering and experience working for a UK based Consultancy completing flood risk assessments, drainage strategies and design using infodrainage or causeway or AutoCAD.  

It is essential for applicants to reside locally, near to the office, as you will be required to work from the office, 3 days a week.
