Civil Engineer - Highways Design

A growing transport planning and infrastructure design consultancy is looking to appoint a Civil Engineer with a strong focus on highways design.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a range of development and infrastructure projects, contributing to the design and delivery of practical, efficient transport solutions.
The role:
• Deliver highways design work across a variety of schemes
• Support project delivery from concept through to detailed design
• Work closely with transport planners and multidisciplinary teams
• Prepare technical drawings, reports, and supporting documentation
• Engage with clients and stakeholders where required
The ideal candidate:
• Experience in highways design within a consultancy environment
• Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g. AutoCAD, Civils 3D)
• Understanding of UK design standards and guidance
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel to Cambridge and/or London as needed
