Our client is currently seeking a Civil Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to manage and deliver large infrastructure schemes across the UK.
The Role:
Design of civil engineering schemes associated with large developments throughout the UK
Client management including attendance at client and design team meetings
Recognised point of contact for clients on projects
Managing junior staff delivering infrastructure schemes
Mentoring junior staff and supporting their training and development
Input into financial control of projects, contributing to fee proposals and invoicing
Job Requirements:
Competent user of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, AutoTrack and (ideally but not essential) MicroDrainage/Causeway Flow
Experience of highway/drainage design associated with S278, S38, S104 agreements
Good communication and people skills
Ability to work well as part of a team
Experience of working with developers/contractors
