Job Description
Our client is recruiting for a civil engineer and looking for someone that will work within a multi-disciplinary team with a varied portfolio of infrastructure schemes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of civil engineering projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications, safety standards, and client requirements. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to innovative infrastructure developments while developing your professional expertise within a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
* Manage client relationships on a day to day basis and provide fee quotes.
* Develop detailed civil engineering designs using software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and MicroStation.
* Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely delivery of projects.
* Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports for construction projects.
* Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate project activities.
* Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
* Prepare transport statements.
* Consult with various authorities.
Skills/qualifications:
* HNC/HND or degree in Civil Engineering or relevant qualification.
* Hold or be willing to work towards IEng or CEng qualification.
* Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil3D, CDM 2-15
* Experience of S38, S104 and S278 agreements
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
* Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and team members.
* A full driving licence is required.
