We're working with a leading global engineering consultancy that is continuing to invest in the growth of its Civil Engineering team and is looking to appoint at least two Civil Engineers to join its thriving Gloucester office.

The Opportunity

You'll be joining an established team of 20 Civil Engineers, working alongside highly regarded Structural Engineers to deliver innovative civil engineering solutions on a diverse portfolio of building and infrastructure projects.

Projects span a wide range of sectors, including:

Education and schools
	
Residential and mixed-use developments
	
Student accommodation
	
Museums and cultural buildings
	
Large-scale retail developments
	
Ministry of Defence (MOD) facilities
	
Ministry of Justice (MOJ) developments
	
Bristol Airport
	
International leisure developments, including globally recognised surf lagoons

Working within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment, you'll play a key role in projects from initial concept through to detailed design and construction support.

The Role

Depending on your experience, you'll be responsible for:

Delivering highways, drainage and external works designs for a wide range of development projects.
	
Producing drainage strategies, SuDS designs, earthworks and levels.
	
Preparing Section 38, Section 278 and Section 104 designs and approvals.
	
Working closely with structural, geotechnical, environmental and transport planning teams.
	
Liaising with clients, architects, contractors and local authorities.
	
Supporting project delivery from feasibility through to construction.
	
Mentoring junior engineers and supporting their development (Senior & Principal levels).
	
Leading project delivery, managing client relationships and contributing to business development (Principal level).

About You

You'll ideally have:

A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
	
Experience delivering infrastructure design for development projects within a UK consultancy.
	
Knowledge of highways, drainage and external works design.
	
Experience using Civil 3D, AutoCAD, InfoDrainage, Causeway Flow, MicroDrainage or similar software.
	
A good understanding of UK design standards, SuDS and Section Agreements.
	
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.

Chartered status, or a desire to work towards Chartership, would be advantageous.
