About the Role As an Assistant Engineer, you'll support the successful delivery of infrastructure design projects across various stages-from feasibility and planning to detailed design and construction. You'll work closely with senior engineers, gaining hands-on experience and developing your technical and professional skills in a collaborative environment. Why Join? Key Responsibilities ·Assist with the design and coordination of infrastructure projects under the guidance of senior engineers. ·Contribute to drainage and levels strategy development and site layout reviews. ·Support the preparation of planning documents, including Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Technical Notes. ·Help produce construction drawings and assist with securing technical approvals (e.g., S104, S38, S278). ·Participate in due diligence exercises and technical appraisals of land. ·Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery. About You We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic early-career engineer with: ·A degree in Civil Engineering or a related subject. ·A genuine interest in infrastructure and development engineering. ·Familiarity with key guidance documents such as DMRB, Building Regulations, and SuDS Manual (Ciria C753). ·Basic working knowledge of software such as AutoCAD and MicroDrainage/Causeway Flow (training can be provided). ·A proactive and organised approach, with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
