The Opportunity

We are currently working with a well-established and growing engineering consultancy in Manchester who are looking to appoint a talented Civil Engineer to join their dynamic team.

Role

As a Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and delivery of a wide range of projects including residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments. You’ll be working alongside experienced engineers and technicians, contributing to innovative and sustainable solutions.

Responsibilities

Design of highways, drainage, and infrastructure projects
	
Production of engineering drawings and technical reports
	
Preparation of flood risk assessments and drainage strategies
	
Liaison with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders
	
Support project delivery to agreed deadlines and budgets
	
Undertake site visits as required

Requirements

We are interested in candidates who have:

A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
	
Experience in infrastructure design within a consultancy environment
	
Knowledge of UK design standards and regulations
	
Proficiency with software such as AutoCAD, Civils 3D, MicroDrainage, or similar
	
Strong communication and organisational skills
	
Progression towards Chartership (ICE) is desirable
