Civil Engineer/Senior Civil Engineer
Swansea
£35,000 - £55,000 - DOE
A well-established Civil & Structural Engineering consultancy based in Port Talbot is seeking to appoint a Civil Engineer or Senior Civil Engineer to support its growing workload and expanding project portfolio.
The business is open to considering candidates at multiple levels, so if you are a civil engineer with at least 1 year of experience, please read below!
The Role
Working as part of a collaborative engineering team, you will be involved in the design and delivery of a wide range of civil and structural engineering projects from inception through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce Civil Engineering drawings and technical designs across a variety of projects.
Undertake designs for drainage systems, foundations, structural beams, and columns.
Complete engineering calculations and supporting technical documentation.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Manage projects independently and contribute to team-led projects.
Ensure designs comply with current regulations, industry standards, and health & safety requirements.About You
Experience within a Civil or Structural Engineering consultancy environment.
Proficient in CAD software and engineering design tools.
Strong technical understanding of civil engineering design principles and calculations.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to manage workloads effectively and work to project deadlines.
Good knowledge of relevant UK standards and health & safety requirements.
Chartered status or progression towards chartership would be advantageous but is not essential.
Ideally hold a Bachelor's and Master's degree Benefits
