Civil Engineering Technician (Marine) Temporary to Permanent £200 - £250pd DOE (Umbrella) Perm salary of £30,000 - £40,000 DOE + Holiday, training, progression, pension, OT Location: Henley-on-Thames Immediately available Mon - Fri Are you from a Marine, Civil, or Construction background looking for your next immediately available, days-based role, with long-term potential for a permanent role with training, development, and progression? This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established Civil Engineering company with a specialist Marine Construction department, working on a wide range of unique and challenging projects across the waterways, rivers, and coastal infrastructure sector. As the company continues to grow, they are looking to expand their marine site team with the addition of a versatile Marine Civil Engineering Operative. The role is highly varied and will involve working on marine-based construction and civil engineering projects. Day-to-day tasks may include piling operations, crane operation, welding and fabrication, general site preparation, installation work, and boat operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in some of the above areas and a willingness to learn and upskill through structured training. You must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and be confident working on or around water. The role offers long-term career progression with training available in areas such as NVQs in Piling, welding & fabrication, crawler crane operation, boat handling, and various site certifications (NPORS, CPS, etc.).
