Are you ready to take the next step in your civil engineering career? We're on the lookout for a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineering Technician to join our client's growing Civil/Infrastructure Engineering team in Solent.

What You'll Be Doing:
As a Civil Engineering Technician, you will:
Assist in the preparation of civil engineering drawings and designs.
Support project teams on development infrastructure
Produce detailed 2D CAD drawings for highways, drainage, and public realm works.
Work from sketches, mark-ups, and technical specifications to deliver high-quality outputs.
Assist with Section 38 and 278 drawings for planning, tender, and construction.
Collaborate with engineers to deliver innovative and practical design solutions.
What We're Looking For:
BTEC/HNC (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a related subject.
Relevant work experience in a consultancy or private sector environment.
Good working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
Familiarity with UK design guidance (e.g. Manual for Streets, DMRB, Local Authority Standards).
Experience or interest in highway design (training provided where necessary).
Knowledge of 3D design tools such as Site 3D or Civil 3D is a plus (training available).
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage your own workload.
A team player who's keen to learn, grow, and take on new responsibilities.
