Civil Site Resident Engineer - Major Infrastructure Project | Dublin, Ireland 🇮🇪
Join a global professional services leader committed to solving the world's biggest challenges in energy, water, and urbanisation.
We're seeking an experienced Civil Site Resident Engineer to oversee the delivery of a major High Voltage Substation project in Ireland, supporting the growing demand for data centres and digital infrastructure. This is a site-based role representing the client on the construction site of the newbuild substation and grid connection project.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
Oversee the delivery of a large-scale civil and structural construction project.
Supervise contractors, suppliers, and designers to ensure quality, compliance, and safety.
Review and coordinate technical deliverables to achieve engineering excellence.
Represent the client as they expand their delivery capability in Ireland, and uphold core values on-site.
Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure successful project completion.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Essential:
Degree qualification in Civil Engineering (or related discipline).
Minimum 10 years' experience in industrial civil installations.
Proven experience in the design and construction of large infrastructure projects.
Extensive site-based civil engineering experience.
Strong client- and contractor-facing communication skills.
Solid understanding of HSE standards and regulations.
Right to work in Ireland on long term project. Desirable:
Experience delivering Owner's Engineer services.
Background in power generation or high-voltage projects.
Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and technical standards.
Experience on multi-million-euro infrastructure projects
