The Role:
As a key part of the senior management team, you'll lead the commercial function across multiple civil engineering projects—ranging from £1m to £20m in value. You'll take ownership of cost control, forecasting, procurement, subcontractor management, and client liaison.
Responsibilities:

Lead commercial strategy across major civil engineering projects
*
Oversee cost planning, reporting, and risk management
*
Manage subcontractor procurement and performance
*
Collaborate with operational teams to drive value
*
Act as the commercial point of contact with clients and stakeholders
*
Support the development of junior QS/commercial staff
About You:
*
Proven experience in a commercial role within civil engineering
*
Strong knowledge of NEC contracts (Option C preferred)
*
Excellent commercial awareness and leadership skills
*
Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or similar
*
Based in or willing to travel across the Midlands regionBefore You Apply
