Job Title: Working Site Supervisor
Job Type: temp long term contract CIS Paid
Location: Kings Lynn
Salary: £220 - £270 per day
Company & Project: Our client, a large and well-established civil engineering company working is looking for an experienced Foreman / Supervisor to oversee a civils project in the Bury St Edmunds project they mostly work in the water & engegy industy so experince within the field would be an advantage.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Supervising and overseeing the direction of the project (or a package), ensuring that the client’s specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress and liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor costs
Liaising with the client, other construction professionals and, sometimes, members of the public
Coordinating and supervising construction workers
Making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety
Knowledge of construction of associated water, waste water treatment and general utility infrastructure works
Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings
Maintaining quality control procedures
Writing reports and keeping on top of paperwork
Understand the tender allowances and monitor contract costs against agreed budgets – company financial reporting.
Desirable Experience & Skills:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a site agent on civils projects
CSCS card
1st Aid
SMSTS/SSSTS
