Role Overview
Work as a Cladding Designer / Façade Designer delivering technical design packages across cladding, curtain walling, and façade systems from concept through to installation.
Key Responsibilities
Produce AutoCAD 2D cladding drawings (plans, elevations, details, fire barriers)
Panel layouts, sub-grid setting out, fabrication drawings
Site surveys, design meetings, and technical coordination
Liaise with architects, structural engineers, façade consultants, and suppliers
Manage RFIs, drawing registers, and technical submissions
Requirements
Experience:
3-5+ years UK cladding / façade design experience
Software:
AutoCAD 2D (essential)
Revit / SketchUp / Bluebeam (desirable)
Technical Knowledge:
Cladding systems, curtain walling, insulation, fixings
Fire barriers, façade details, fabrication drawings
U-values, condensation risk analysis
Other:
UK-based, right to work
Commutable to London
Driving licence preferred
