Reporting to the Senior Claims Technician, you will be an active member of the support function within the region with the objective of providing effective support to Adjusters and enhancing the region’s efficiency and productivity in handling commercial claims.

About The Successful Claims Technician, Preferred Knowledge And Experience:
* Experience in claims handling including caseload management
* Organised and able to self-manage workload with a methodical, accurate, and analytical approach with pride in output quality
* Good working knowledge of Word and Excel
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely
* Strong relationship management skills and ability to establish good working relationships with team, colleagues, and third parties
* Excellent stakeholder management with ability to manage multiple priorities and conflicting demands
* Thrive in a high-pressured environment and be driven to meet and exceed targets
* Property claims insurance experience preferred but not essential
* Open to recent graduates
* You will need excellent verbal and written communication, willingness to learn, technically capable, use of different systems required, training given
Responsibilities
* Administration of new claims including receiving instruction, issuing acknowledgments, setting up files, and undertaking risk screening and triaging.
* Work closely with Adjusters to assist with investigation and validation enquiries and control the lifecycle of files to drive diary management and support proactive management of claims from setup to conclusion.
* Oversee Adjuster caseloads when necessary during periods of leave.
* Coordinate with insureds, insurers, brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure optimum customer service and act as a point of contact where needed.
* Aid the production of technical reports for Adjusters in compliance with professional standards, internal guidelines, and agreed timescales.
* Ensure time reporting and billing are compliant with internal standards, processing, and systems.
* Develop and run management information for clients and internal use, including performance measurement and data integrity reports.
* Ensure company standards are met regarding technical and operational policies and procedures, including data protection and information security.
* Provide account management support where required and handle incoming telephone calls and resolve queries.
