Job Description

Driver Hire Colchester is currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Class 1 (C+E) Night Driver to join our team.

Requirements:

  * 

    Must have your own transport to travel to and from work.

  * 

    Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card.

  * 

    Fewer than 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, or similar endorsements).

  * 

    Must have appropriate PPE, including steel toe cap boots (Hi-Vis provided by Driver Hire).

  * 

    Must be comfortable using both paper-based and PDA-based delivery systems.

Job Details:

  * 

    Start times: Between 18:00 and 23:00.

  * 

    Shift length: Between 8 and 12 hours (minimum 10 hours guaranteed).

  * 

    Pay rate: £19.00 per hour.

  * 

    Regular ongoing work available for the right candidate.

    Good understanding of driver hours and night-time delivery procedures.

  * 

    Excellent communication and time management skills.

  * 

    Able to work independently and maintain high safety standards
