Class 1 Driver | Day Tramping | Temp-to-Perm | Early Starts | Up to 55 Hours/Week | Bristol 🚛
Driver Hire Bristol is recruiting 3 reliable and experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a temp-to-perm opportunity with a respected transport business operating from the Bristol area. This is a day tramping role with early starts, consistent hours, and overnight stays - perfect for drivers looking for a stable, long-term position.
🔸 Temp-to-Perm | Weekly Pay | £20 Night Out Allowance | Clean, Automatic Trucks 🔸
The Role:
Start between 03:00 and 06:00 daily
Typically 2-4 deliveries per day
Trampers stay out Monday to Friday (or as scheduled)
Hook up trailers, secure loads with ratchet straps, and manage curtain-sided vehicles
Use of automatic trucks for a smoother, easier drive
45-55 hours per week average

🧰 What You'll Need:
Full UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
At least 6 months of recent, active Class 1 driving experience
Confidence with strapping loads, hooking/unhooking, and curtain-sider operation
Physically able and happy with manual handling where required
Positive attitude and good communication skills
