Class 1 Wag and Drag Driver – Day Shifts – Immediate Start – Stafford

Job Description
We are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 (HGV C+E) Wag and Drag Drivers to work day shifts for a leading logistics company based in Stafford.
This role offers excellent hourly rates, immediate starts, and ongoing work with a well-established transport business. You’ll be operating Wag and Drag units, completing trunking runs between depots, with coupling and uncoupling required.
This is a clean, organised driving role — perfect for professional Class 1 Drivers looking for consistent, well-paid PAYE work.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive Class 1 Wag and Drag vehicles on trunking runs.
* Perform coupling and uncoupling safely and efficiently.
* Complete all required paperwork accurately.
* Maintain high safety and compliance standards.
* Work closely with transport and operations teams.
Requirements
* Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence.
* Proven Wag and Drag experience.
* Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
* Minimum 6 months’ HGV Class 1 experience.
* No more than 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, IN, TT, or CD offences).
Pay & Benefits
* £19.00 – £20.00 per hour (PAYE).
* Weekly pay.
* Day shifts available with flexible scheduling.
* Overtime and weekend work available.
