Job Description
Class 1 Drivers
We’re looking for experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join DHL in Brackmills, Northampton. You’ll be responsible for safe, timely deliveries and collections, operating modern, well-maintained vehicles.
Shift Patterns Available:
Sunday – Thursday
Tuesday – Saturday
Start times between 04:00 and 10:00 AMPay & Benefits
Basic (Weekday): £18.07/hour
Overtime: £27.11/hour (after 8 hours Mon–Fri)
OVERTIME RATE FOR ALL HOURS WORKED AT WEKENDS! Additional Perks

What You’ll Need
Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence (held for at least 1 year)
Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience (retail experience preferred)
CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
Maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
Sound understanding of Drivers’ Hours, Regulations, and the Working Time Directive
Your Responsibilities
Safely operate Class 1 vehicles
Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle checks
Maintain accurate records and delivery logs
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety procedures
