About the Role:

CareerMakers Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced Class 1 Day Drivers (LGV C+E) for a number of reputable logistics contracts based in Trafford Park. This role is ideal for drivers looking for ongoing full-time work or flexible ad-hoc day shifts, with consistent start times and modern vehicles.

This is a great opportunity to secure regular day work with excellent pay and long-term potential.

Job Details:

  * HGV Class 1 (C+E) day driving roles only

  * Range of work including trunking, RDC/store deliveries, and general haulage

  * Mixture of local and regional runs

  * 1–2 drops per shift on average

  * Clean, modern fleet and well-planned routes

  * Immediate starts available

Pay Rates (PAYE):

  * Day Shifts: £15.50 per hour

  * Holiday Pay Inclusive Rate: £17.37 per hour

  * Overtime and premium rates may apply depending on client assignment

Candidate Requirements:

  * Valid UK Class 1 (LGV C+E) Licence

  * Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card

  * Minimum 2 years of Class 1 driving experience (essential)

  * Maximum 6 penalty points (no DR, DD, IN endorsements)

  * Good level of spoken and written English

  * Reliable, professional and safety-conscious
