Job Description
Location: Manchester
Shifts: Various (Mon–Fri + weekends)
Due to continued growth, Recruit are now hiring Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a well-established client based in Stretford. This is mainly general haulage, with Monday–Friday work and a choice of flexible shift patterns.
Whether you're looking for ongoing steady work, a permanent position, or part-time flexi shifts, we can accommodate you.
Duties will include but not limited too:
* Driving a Class 1 vehicle (Curtainsider or Box trailer)
* Deliveries and collections to RDCs across the UK
* No loading/unloading required
* Ensuring all loads are securely strapped and safe
PAY RATES (PAYE)
* £17.00 per hour – Monday to Friday
* £19.00 per hour – Overtime after 8 hours
* £17.00 per hour – Saturday
* £17.00 per hour – Sunday
Our client is a recognised, reputable company offering consistent, long-term work and strong earning potential.
You must have:
* Valid C+E Licence
* CPC Card
* Digital Tachograph Card
* At least 1 year Class 1 driving experience
* Good communication skills
* Own transport or ability to travel to Manchester
* Maximum 6 points for minor offences
(We cannot accept licences with DR or IN convictions for insurance purposes.)
