Class 1 HGV Driver – Fragile Deliveries (Temp to Perm)

Location: Cannock

Salary: £36,716.97 per annum
Start Times: 04:00–07:00

TopGear Recruitment Solutions are working in partnership with one of the UK's top ten companies to work for in the food and drink industry to recruit multiple Class 1 HGV Drivers for a temp-to-perm opportunity in Cannock.

The Role

We are looking for reliable and professional Class 1 HGV Drivers to join a busy transport operation, carrying out fragile deliveries while providing a high standard of service.

What We Are Looking For

  * Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence

  * Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

  * Experience with Class 1 driving

  * Physically able and willing to carry out manual handling

  * Reliable, professional and able to work independently

  * Good attention to detail, particularly when handling fragile goods

  * Previous farm or hands-on work experience is beneficial but not essential

What We Can Offer You

  * Temp-to-perm opportunity

  * £36,716.97 per annum

  * Overtime paid after 12 hours at £21.01 per hour

  * Guaranteed contractual hours every month, paid even if not worked

  * Consistent day/night shifts

  * Predictable 4 on / 4 off rota

  * Start times between 04:00–07:00

  * Supportive transport team

  * Industry-standard training, including CPC

  * Excellent opportunity to secure a permanent position
