Job Description
GI Group are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 driver for our client based in Sheffield (S9) for ongoing work.
£17.93 per hour
* Please note, this includes advanced holiday pay
Shifts / Start times
- (Apply online only) start times
- 12 hours per shift
- Monday to Thursday
- Opportunity to work Friday shift as extra
- 2/3 Deliveries of cages to Hospitals
Main Duties will include:
- Securing cages
- Delivering / Collecting cages of Linen
- prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met
- Lifting / unloading goods from the vehicle using a tail-lift
The Candidate:
- Have an up to date CPC and TACO
- Have at least 6 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
- A positive attitude and work ethic, always keen to learn new skills
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English to adhere to health and safety requirements
- Have good customer service skills and an eye for detail
