Job Description
Our client in Middleton, Manchester are looking for HGV Class 1 Day Drivers. This position is based on a temp-perm basis with 5 days per week. For the right candidate this will lead to a permanent contract.
We have driving assessments available immediately.
Duties:
* Store Deliveries (3-5 stores per day)
* Delivering cages to locked stores (Full training is provided!)
* Day trunk runs (1-2 per shift dependent on location, could be up to Scotland)
* Driving in a safe, responsible manner on behalf of the client you are representing
* Ensuring all paperwork and documentation is completed correctly
* Follow driver working time directive at all times.
Requirements:
* Training provided - Classroom Training 1day , 4 days driving training (Paid)
* Hold Full UK Digi Cards
* Good Knowledge of working time directive
* Maximum of 6 points on your licence
* Good communication skills
* Held your Class 1 license for a minimum of 2 years
Pay:
* £14.46 ph
* Optional Overtime
Start Times
* Between 06:00am – 09:00am
