Job Description
The Best Connection Employment Group are currently seeking ADHOC Class 1 Drivers for one of our clients In Surrey.
The successful candidate will possess a current and valid Category C+E Licence, Digi tacho and CPC card.
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday: 05:30-1630 but start and finish times may vary.
Rate of Pay:
£ 17.50 PH PAYE
Responsibilities of the Class 1 Driver:
* Operate a Class 1 vehicle from Surrey to various locations in the UK. You’ll be collecting scaffolding from the yard and delivering around London and the southeast of England.
* Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy. Report any safety issues on standard reports.
* Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely Interact with dispatchers and others daily to ensure all task are carried out in a timely and professional manner.
* Follow all required safety policies and procedures.
Requirements of the Class 1 Driver:
* Category C+E Licence.
* CPC.
* Digi Tacho.
Due to the location and start times own transport is required.
