M4 Specialist are recruiting Class 1 Driver to work at our clients Distribution Centre in Worksop. Ideally we require 1+ years of experience with Class 1 Driving. As an ambassador of the clients brand, you must deliver a professional service at all times. The Depot operates 24 hours a day; Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays.
Assessments usually Monday or Tuesday's and Induction the day after. Ideally be available straight away or the following Monday.
Responsibilities of a Class 1 driver:
• 2 man team, delivering cages and totes to stores across the UK alongside a drivers mate who will assist you
• Occasional trunking work may also be available
Hours for a Class 1 driver:
• Monday to Friday Afters / Nights - Shift start time windows 6pm-10pm, 7pm-11pm & 11pm-3am
• Tuesday to Saturday Mornings - Shift start times from 4am
• Shifts average 10 hours
• Ongoing
Pay rates for a Class 1 driver:
• £17.00 Days
• £20.00 Nights
• £21.00 Saturday
• £22.00 Sunday/Bank holiday
• £22.00 Overtime
• PAYE role only
• Weekly pay
Requirements for the role of a Class 1 driver:
• Be aged 25 or over
• Hold a valid UK Class One licence
• Have valid CPC and Digi Card
• No more than 6 points on your licence, only SP offences can be accepted
• No previous disqualifications on your licence
• You will be required to complete a driving assessment and induction before you start, this is a paid induction and will be paid only once assignment started.
