Class 1 Multidrop Driver Days
Location: Banbury, OX16 2AA
Shift times: ADHOC covering holidays & absences, 5am - 7am starts (10-12 hour shifts)

Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.
We're looking for Class 1 Days Drivers to join us at our site in Banbury on a casual basis. This role is best suited for those who do not require full time work and are just wanting to increase their weekly hours by a shift or two.
Typical shifts start times are between 05:00 & 07:00 and the shifts will typically last between 10-12 hours. All trailers are loaded by the distribution centre and are unloaded by the client - so there is typically no manual handling involved.
Though this is a casual role initially, candidates who get on well will be considered for permanent roles if this was sought after.
What you'll do on a typical day:
Multidrop deliveries of household cleaners (no ADR required) between customer sites across England (includes London so must be happy travelling through / around this area).
Ensuring all loads are strapped securely to transport
Remove curtains for the customer to unload as required
Ensuring all manual and digital paperwork is signed as needed
Safely operate your vehicle adhering to business standards.
Vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with VOSA.What you need to succeed with our client
Must have a multidrop experience and a minimum of 2 years HGV experience
HGV1 licence, Digital Tachograph Card, Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
No more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card.
Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.
A can-do attitude
