Job Title: Class 1 Driver

Contract Type: Ad-hoc
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Pay Rate:
* Class 2 – £13.50 per hour (PAYE)
* Class 1 – £15.00 per hour (PAYE)
About the Role
We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Class 1 Drivers to join our transport team on a part-time or ad-hoc basis. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers seeking flexible working hours with no overnight stays or weekend commitments.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out 1-2 pallet collections per shift
* Complete long-distance deliveries (within a 10–12 hour working window)
* Operate curtain-sided vehicles
* Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods
* Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections
Requirements
* Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
* Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
* Good knowledge of UK road networks
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
* Excellent time management and reliability
* 1 month experience
