Job Description
Class 1 HGV Driver – Freezer Pallet Work ❄️
Location: Barnsley
Pay: Up to £19.00 per hour (including holiday pay)
Shifts: Monday to Friday | Start times vary | Occasional weekends | Days or Nights
Are you a reliable and experienced Class 1 (C+E) Driver looking for regular work in the Barnsley area?
We’re currently recruiting for drivers to complete palletised deliveries from a frozen distribution centre, delivering into RDCs and key retail sites. This is ongoing, long-term work for the right candidate!
✅ What You’ll Be Doing:
Operating a Class 1 vehicle (refrigerated trailer)
Transporting frozen palletised goods
Completing pre and post vehicle checks
Ensuring all delivery paperwork is completed accurately
✅ What We’re Looking For:
A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence, CPC and digi card
Minimum 6 months’ experience preferred
Comfortable working in a chilled/frozen environment
Good level of English and communication skills
