Job Description
Odin Recruitment is currently seeking reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a busy logistics operation based in Northampton. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a respected national logistics provider offering stability, competitive pay, and a strong benefits package.
The Role:
You’ll be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods across the UK, ensuring a high standard of customer service and compliance with transport regulations. This role follows a 4-on-4-off shift pattern, so flexibility to work weekends is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate Class 1 HGV vehicles in line with driving regulations
* Ensure goods are loaded, secured, and delivered on time
* Complete all relevant paperwork and delivery documentation
* Communicate effectively with transport teams and customers
* Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly
Requirements:
* Full UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
* Good driving record with no major endorsements
* Experience with Longer Semi-Trailers (LSTs) is an advantage
* A proactive attitude and strong understanding of road safetyBefore You Apply
