Class 1 Driver - Trunking & Light Local Deliveries
📍 Location: Cheltenham, GL54
🕒 Start Time: Approx. 03:00 AM | Monday to Friday
📅 Contract Type: Temp to Perm
💷 Pay Rate: £16.50 per hour
🔹 The Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 Driver (Category C+E) for early morning trunking work based in Toddington, Cheltenham.
This role involves runs to national distribution hubs (Pallex & Fortec), followed by light local deliveries only if required. It's ideal for a Class 1 driver looking for structured shifts with minimal handball.
🚚 Your Route & Responsibilities
03:00 AM Start - Trunk run from Cheltenham to:
Coalville, Leicester
Watford, Northampton
Return to depot to unload
Optional: Small local pallet deliveries within a 5-mile radius of the depot (2-3 pallets max)
Ensure safe, professional transport of freight
Complete all relevant delivery documentation
Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects
✅ What We're Looking For
Full UK Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
Minimum 1 year HGV driving experience
Clean or low-points licence (no more than 5 points)
Able to work early mornings (03:00 AM starts)
Strong attention to safety, timekeeping, and communication

Pay Rate: £16.50 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 03:00 AM starts
