My client based has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Class 1 driver to join their team now!
Pay Rate: £19.68 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary Ongoing
Shifts: 4 ON 4 OFF WEEKENDS INCLUDED
Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and professional Class 1 HGV Driver to work at a Distribution Centre based in Castle Donington. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company, delivering high-quality service within a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a Class 1 HGV vehicle, adhering to all road safety and compliance regulations
Complete trunking runs and store deliveries across the UK
Carry out pre- and post-trip vehicle checks
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods
Maintain communication with the transport team to report any delays or issues
Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately
Requirements:
Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
Minimum 2 years Class 1 driving experience required
Good knowledge of UK road networks and driving regulations
A professional and customer-focused attitude
