Exciting new opportunities for a Class 1 Driver based in Immingham
Our client, a leading business in the general haulage sector, are looking for Class 1 Drivers on a Temporary basis.
Benefits include;
* Umbrella Rate: £23.00 p/h Nights - £22.00 Days
* Paye Rate: £17.40 p/h Nights - £16.40 p/h Days
* Monday to Friday only.
* 8 hour Guarantees
* Paid Breaks
In order to apply you must have:
* Full HGV C+E Class 1 licence
* A minimum of 6 months current continuous experience of driving Class 1 vehicles in the UK
* No more than 3 points on your Licence
* CPC Card Digital tacho card
* A willingness to learn and develop
* Good communication skills Numerical and logical reasoning skills are fundamental
* A good understanding of Drivers hours and regulations
* Excellent geographical knowledge of UK road network
* Flexible approach to work Customer focused attitude
* A willingness to learn and develop
Summary
As a Class 1 Night Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently during night time hours. With core skills in driving and commercial driving, you will operate vehicles with a Category CE Licence, ensuring timely deliveries. Your premium skill in flatbed driving will be valuable for handling specialized cargo. Previous experience as a delivery driver will enhance your ability to navigate routes and communicate effectively with dispatch. Responsibilities
* Safely operate Class 1 vehicles during night shifts for commercial driving purposes.
* Utilize Category CE Licence to transport goods efficiently and adhere to traffic regulations.
* Demonstrate excellent communication skills when interacting with clients and colleagues.
* Apply delivery driver experience to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
