Job Description
Real Recruitment are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for a well-established client in the Haydock area. Each shift is between 8 and 12 hours long.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate Class 1 vehicle
* General Haulage
* Maintain accurate delivery paperwork
* Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects
Requirements:
* Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) License
* Minimum 12 months’ experience in Class 1 driving
* Good knowledge of UK road laws and regulations
* Ability to work early starts and up to 12-hour shifts
* Reliable, punctual, and a good team player
Desirable (but not essential):
* Previous general haulage and some store work experience
* Familiarity with tail lifts and cage handling
* Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card (essential)
