Job Description
Class 1 HGV Drivers – Burton on Trent
We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 HGV drivers for ongoing work with a well-established general haulage company based in the DE14 area. This is a fantastic opportunity for professional drivers looking for regular shifts and competitive rates of pay.
About the role:
You will be completing general haulage runs across the UK, with no handball involved. Loads are typically palletised, ensuring a straightforward and efficient day. We are looking for drivers who can be flexible with start times and committed to delivering a high standard of service.
Shifts available:
*
Day shifts: starts between 03:00 – 06:00
*
Night shifts: starts between 16:00 – 18:00
Rates of pay:
PAYE Drivers
*
Days: £16.00 per hour
*
Nights: £18.00 per hour
LTD Drivers
*
Days: £19.50 per hour
*
Nights: £22.50 per hour
What we’re looking for:
*
Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
*
CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
*
Minimum 12 months HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred
*
Good communication skills and a positive attitude
*
Flexibility to accommodate varying start times
