Job Description
Company: IMH Recruitment are partnering with a well-established metals company in Rotherham to recruit a permanent Class 1 Driver.
The Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Class 1 Driver to join a reputable metals company. Key responsibilities include:
* Driving a new articulated Class 1 vehicle.
* Delivering goods safely and efficiently across the country.
* Conducting daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety regulations.
* Maintaining accurate delivery records and paperwork.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous Class 1 driving experience.
* A clean driving record with no more than 3 points on their licence.
* Strong time management skills and reliability.
* The ability to work independently and follow company procedures.
Hours and Pay
* Rate: £14 per hour (up to 40 hours/week)
* Overtime: £21 per hour (any hours over 40/week)
* Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 5am – finish
* Average Hours: 50–60 hours per week
