Pay: £18.34/hour
Overtime: £27.51 after 12 hours
Shift Pattern
Monday to Thursday (no weekends)
12-hour shifts
Start times between 04:30 – 08:00 AM
Job Details
We’re currently recruiting Class 1 HGV Drivers (C+E) for curtain side work, running between sites, suppliers, and customers.
You’ll be responsible for:
Curtain side deliveries and collections
Site to customer shuttle runs
Site to supplier routes (1–2 suppliers per run)This role offers steady midweek work with long weekends off — ideal for experienced drivers looking for a great work-life balance.
Your Role
Operate Class 1 vehicles safely and professionally
Ensure timely deliveries and collections
Carry out pre- and post-trip vehicle checks
Keep accurate delivery records and logs
Follow all traffic laws and safety procedures
Requirements
Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence held for at least 1 year
Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience
CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
Maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
Good knowledge of Driver Hours, Regulations, and the Working Time Directive
