Job Description
A busy food distribution business is looking for experienced Class 1 Drivers (night tramping) in the Livingston/Broxburn area.
Pay Rates & Shifts:
£20.17 per hour, plus an additional £31.20 night out allowance per night out.
Shifts are 4 on 4 off with various start times between 22.00-05.00.
This is a temporary-to-permanent position from day 1.
What you’ll be doing as Class 1 Driver:
Duties will include trunking fridge trailers to various RDC’s down the country and a night out with a collection on the way back.
What we’re looking for in a Class 1 Driver:
Due to insurance purposes:
You must have held your licence for at least 1 year and have at least 9 months’ experience
You must have no more than 6 points for minor offences.
You will be required to attend a paid induction before starting which will consist of a 1-2 hour driving assessment and then 6-7 hour classroom induction.
