Job Description
The Best Connection are currently recruiting Class 1 Drivers for a well-established automotive logistics company based in Rotherham. This role involves the delivery of car-related parts using a Class 1 double deck vehicle, delivering to RDC's all over the country so some long-distance travel will be involved. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and reliable driver to secure adhoc and ongoing work with a well-established company.
🚛 Job Vacancy: Class 1 Night Driver (Double Deck Vehicle) - £17.00/hr
📍 Location: Hellaby (Rotherham)
🕐 Working week: Sunday to Saturday Nights
💷 Pay Rate: £17.00 per hour
👥 Double Manning Involved
🔧 Job Duties:
Night-time trunking of car parts to delivery destinations across the UK
Operating a Class 1 (C+E) double decker vehicle
Ensuring all loads are safely secured and transported
Working as part of a double-manned team for long-distance routes
Completing necessary paperwork and adhering to all transport legislation
✅ Requirements:
Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Experience with double deck vehicles preferred
Minimum 1 year class 1 experience
Comfortable with night shifts and overnight routes
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
📅 Shift Pattern:
Working week runs Sunday-Saturday
